The League is left in the aftermath of the Judgement Day crossover. Ice had sacrificed her life to save the planet and now the various members of the Justice League International mourn their friend. Tempers and emotions run high as they return Tora's body to her home place in Norway.

Ice's mother, the sole survivor of her family, Queen Olafsdotter expresses to the League that Tora died because of them and the are no longer welcome in her homeland after the burial.

Meanwhile, Catherine Cobert begins the process of severring the UN's ties to the Justice League International.
